1) Information on the collection of personal data and contact details of the controller

1.1 We are pleased that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest. Below we inform you about how we handle your personal data when you use our website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

1.2 The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is HelloBello Tiernahrung GmbH, Garnisongasse 4/11, 1090 Vienna, Austria, Tel.: +43 1 9977289, email: support@hellobello.at. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the character string "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser bar.

2) Data collection when you visit our website

When you use our website purely for information purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called "server log files"). When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

  • Our visited website
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/referrer from which you reached the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used (if applicable: in anonymised form)

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data is not passed on or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively should there be concrete indications of unlawful use.

3) Hosting

Hosting by Shopify
We use the shop system of the service provider Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify") for the purpose of hosting and displaying the online shop on the basis of processing on our behalf. In the event of data being transferred to Shopify Inc. in Canada, an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. Further information on Shopify's data protection can be found on the following website: https://www.shopify.de/legal/datenschutz
Further processing on servers other than the aforementioned Shopify servers only takes place within the framework set out below.

4) Cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies). When cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information to an individual extent, such as browser and location data and IP address values. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may differ depending on the cookie. You can check the duration of the respective cookie storage in the overview of the cookie settings of your web browser.

In some cases, cookies serve to simplify the ordering process by saving settings (e.g. remembering the contents of a virtual shopping basket for a later visit to the website). If personal data is also processed by individual cookies we use, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR either for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR if consent has been given, or in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.

Please note that you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Every browser differs in the way it manages cookie settings. This is described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed. This is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified, provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

6) Online appointment booking

6.1 Calendly

This website uses the software "Calendly" from the provider Calendly, LLC, BB&T Tower, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA, to provide an online appointment booking function. For the purpose of scheduling appointments, first and last name and email address (and, where applicable, telephone number if a telephone appointment is requested) are collected in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and transmitted to Calendly in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in effective customer management and efficient appointment management, where they are stored for the purpose of organising the appointment. After the appointment has taken place or after the agreed appointment period has expired, your data will be deleted by Calendly. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Calendly ("Data Processing Addendum", available at https://calendly.com/pages/dpa, in which we oblige Calendly to protect our customers' data in accordance with the legal requirements. Calendly generally transfers collected information outside the European Economic Area and relies on the so-called standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.
Details on Calendly's privacy policy can be found here: https://calendly.com/de/pages/privacy

7) Data processing when opening a customer account and for contract processing

In accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, personal data is also collected and processed if you provide it to us for the performance of a contract or when opening a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the above-mentioned address of the controller. We store and use the data you provide to process the contract. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be blocked in view of tax and commercial retention periods and deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we have reserved the right to further use of data permitted by law.

8) Use of customer data for direct advertising

8.1 Subscribing to our email newsletter

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. The provision of further data is voluntary and is used to be able to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to send the newsletter. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter once you have expressly confirmed to us that you consent to receiving newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter in future by clicking on a corresponding link.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address entered by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of subscription in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data we collect when you subscribe to the newsletter is used exclusively for the purpose of advertising via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

8.2 Sending the email newsletter to existing customers

If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods or services from our range by email. In accordance with § 7 (3) UWG (German Act Against Unfair Competition), we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails. You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the controller named at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs according to the basic rates for this. Once your objection has been received, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will cease immediately.

8.3 Advertising by post

On the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, your postal address and - if we have received this additional information from you as part of the contractual relationship - your title, academic degree, year of birth and your professional, industry or business designation in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and to use them to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post.
You can object to the storage and use of your data for this purpose at any time by sending a corresponding message to the controller.

9) Data processing for order processing

9.1 To process your order, we work with the service provider(s) listed below, who support us in whole or in part in the performance of concluded contracts. Certain personal data is transferred to these service providers in accordance with the following information.

The personal data we collect will be passed on to the transport company commissioned with the delivery as part of the contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. We pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution as part of payment processing, insofar as this is necessary for payment processing. If payment service providers are used, we will inform you explicitly about this below. The legal basis for passing on the data is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

9.2 Use of special service providers for order handling and processing

9.2.1 DHL Fulfillment

Order processing is carried out via the service provider DHL Home Delivery GmbH, Sträßchensweg 10, 53113 Bonn as part of "Shipping by DHL Fulfillment". Your personal data is passed on to DHL Fulfillment exclusively for the purpose of processing the online order in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

9.2.2 Shopify Order Printer

For the accounting and logistical organisation of orders, we use the "Order Printer" service of Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify") for the automated creation of invoices, receipts, shipping labels and other business documents. If personal order data is processed via the service to prepare these documents, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR exclusively for the proper processing of online orders.

9.3 Use of payment service providers (payment services)

9.3.1 Apple Pay

If you choose the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment is processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device running iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored in "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features built into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, you must therefore enter a code you have previously set and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device. For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm that the payment was successful. If personal data is processed in the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Apple retains anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was completed successfully. Anonymisation completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services. If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorising device communicate via an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can identify you. You can disable the option to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and turn off "Allow Payments on Mac".
Further information on data protection with Apple Pay can be found at the following web address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

9.3.2 Google Pay

If you choose the "Google Pay" payment method from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment is processed via the "Google Pay" application of your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function, by charging a payment card stored in Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorise a payment via Google Pay of more than €25, you must first unlock your mobile device using the verification method you have set up (such as facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern). For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the originating website in the form of a one-time transaction number, which is used to verify that a payment has been made. This transaction number does not contain any information about the actual payment data of the payment methods stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a numerical token valid only once. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts merely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored in Google Pay. If personal data is processed in the transmissions described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Google reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or of the sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, where applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, the verification of transaction data and the optimisation and maintenance of the functionality of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when other Google services are used.
The Google Pay terms of use can be found here:
https://payments.google.com/payments/apis-secure/u/0/get_legal_document?ldo=0&ldt=googlepaytos&ldl=de
Further information on data protection with Google Pay can be found at the following web address:
https://payments.google.com/payments/apis-secure/get_legal_document?ldo=0&ldt=privacynotice&ldl=de

9.3.3 PayPal

When paying via PayPal, credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – "purchase on account" or "payment in instalments" via PayPal, we pass on your payment data to PayPal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter "PayPal") as part of payment processing. The data is passed on in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and only to the extent necessary for payment processing.
PayPal reserves the right to carry out a credit check for the payment methods credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – if offered – "purchase on account" or "payment in instalments" via PayPal. For this purpose, your payment data may be passed on to credit agencies in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of PayPal's legitimate interest in determining your solvency. PayPal uses the result of the credit check with regard to the statistical probability of default for the purpose of deciding whether to provide the respective payment method. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data, among other things, but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values. For further data protection information, including on the credit agencies used, please refer to PayPal's privacy statement: https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full
You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to PayPal. However, PayPal may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.

9.3.4 Stripe

If you choose a payment method from the payment service provider Stripe, payment is processed via the payment service provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland, to whom we pass on the information you provided during the ordering process together with information about your order (name, address, account number, bank code, possibly credit card number, invoice amount, currency and transaction number) in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Further information on Stripe's data protection can be found at https://stripe.com/de/privacy#translation.
Stripe reserves the right to carry out a credit check on the basis of mathematical-statistical procedures in order to safeguard its legitimate interest in determining the user's solvency. Stripe may transmit the personal data necessary for a credit check and received as part of payment processing to selected credit agencies, which Stripe discloses to users on request. The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. Address data, among other things, but not exclusively, is included in the calculation of the score values. Stripe uses the result of the credit check with regard to the statistical probability of default for the purpose of deciding on the authorisation to use the selected payment method. You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to Stripe or the commissioned credit agencies. However, Stripe may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.

10) Contacting you for review reminders

10.1 Our own review reminder (not sent via a customer review system)

We use your email address to send you a one-time reminder to submit a review of your order for the review system we use, provided you have given us your express consent to do so during or after your order in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the controller responsible for data processing.

10.2 Review reminder by Trustpilot

If you have given us your express consent to do so during or after your order in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, we will transmit your email address to the review platform Trustpilot of Trustpilot A/S, Pilestræde 58, 1112 Copenhagen K, Denmark (www.trustpilot.com), so that it can send you a review reminder by email. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the controller responsible for data processing or to the review platform.

11) Use of social media: videos

11.1 Use of Vimeo videos

Plugins of the video portal Vimeo of Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA are integrated on our website. When you visit a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Vimeo's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Vimeo directly to your browser and integrated into the page. Through this integration, Vimeo receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Vimeo account or are not currently logged in to Vimeo. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Vimeo server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged in to Vimeo, Vimeo can directly assign your visit to our website to your Vimeo account. If you interact with the plugins (such as pressing the start button of a video), this information is also transmitted directly to a Vimeo server and stored there. The data processing operations described are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of Vimeo's legitimate interest in market research and the needs-based design of the Vimeo service. If you do not want Vimeo to directly assign the data collected via our website to your Vimeo account, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting our website. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Vimeo, as well as your related rights and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Vimeo's privacy policy: https://vimeo.com/privacy

For Vimeo videos embedded on our site, the tracking tool Google Analytics of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland, is automatically integrated. This is Vimeo's own tracking, to which we have no access and which cannot be influenced by us. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" for tracking; these are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to the servers of Google LLC in the USA. This processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of Vimeo's legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes. Where legally required, we have obtained your consent to the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.

12) Online marketing

12.1 Facebook Pixel for creating Custom Audiences (with cookie consent tool)

Our online offering uses the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").
If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us that is displayed on Facebook, Facebook Pixel adds a parameter to the URL of our linked page. If our page allows data to be shared with Facebook via Pixel, this URL parameter is written into the user's browser via a cookie, which our linked page itself sets. This cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel and enables the data to be forwarded to Facebook.
With the help of the Facebook Pixel, Facebook is on the one hand able to define visitors to our online offering as a target group for displaying ads (so-called "Facebook Ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel to display the Facebook Ads we place only to those Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products, determined on the basis of the websites visited) which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook Pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not perceived as annoying. This also allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called "conversion").
The data collected is anonymous to us, i.e. it does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. The data may enable Facebook and its partners to place advertisements on and off Facebook.
The data processing associated with the use of the Facebook Pixel only takes place with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, remove the tick next to the "Facebook Pixel" setting in the "cookie consent tool" integrated on the website.

12.2 Use of Google Ads conversion tracking

This website uses the online advertising programme "Google Ads" and, as part of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use Google Ads to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising material (so-called Google AdWords). In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can block this use by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under "user settings". You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. We use Google Ads on the basis of our legitimate interest in targeted advertising in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The use of Google Ads may also involve the transfer of personal data to the servers of Google LLC in the USA.

You can find further information on Google's privacy policy at the following web address: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

You can permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads conversion tracking by downloading and installing the Google browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de

Please note that certain functions of this website may not be available or only to a limited extent if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Where legally required, we have obtained your consent to the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website or, alternatively, follow the option to object described above.

12.3 Use of affiliate programmes

12.3.1 Our own affiliate programme

In connection with the product presentations on our website, we run our own affiliate programme, under which we provide interested third-party site operators with partner links to place on their websites that lead to our offers. Cookies are used for the affiliate programme, which are generally set on the partner site after clicking on a corresponding partner link and for which we are therefore not responsible under data protection law. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device in order to track the origin of transactions (e.g. "sales leads") generated via such links. Among other things, this allows us to recognise that you clicked on the partner link and were redirected to our website. This information is required for payment processing between us and the affiliate partners. If the information also contains personal data, the processing described is carried out on the basis of our legitimate financial interest in processing commission payments in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If you wish to block the analysis of user behaviour via cookies, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general.

13) Web analytics services

13.1 Google (Universal) Analytics

This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Google (Universal) Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are text files stored on your device that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there; this may also involve a transfer to the servers of Google LLC in the USA. This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()", which ensures anonymisation of the IP address by shortening it and excludes direct personal reference. With this extension, your IP address is first shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google LLC server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with further services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google (Universal) Analytics is not combined with other Google data.
Through a special function, the so-called "demographic characteristics", Google Analytics also enables the creation of statistics with information on the age, gender and interests of site visitors based on an evaluation of interest-based advertising and with the use of third-party information. This allows user groups of the website to be defined and differentiated for the purpose of target-group-optimised marketing measures. However, data records collected via the "demographic characteristics" cannot be assigned to a specific person. All processing described above, in particular the setting of Google Analytics cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Analytics will not be used during your visit to the site. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, please deactivate this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google for the use of Google Analytics, which obliges Google to protect the data of our site visitors and not to pass it on to third parties. For the transfer of data from the EU to the USA, Google relies on the so-called standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection in the USA. Further information on Google (Universal) Analytics can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de

The processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Any further data processing only takes place if you have agreed with Google that your internet and app browsing history will be linked by Google to your Google account and that information from your Google account will be used to personalise ads that you view on the web. If, in this case, you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. 14.2 Pinterest retargeting pixel

A pixel (Pinterest Tag) of Pinterest Europe Ltd. (Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Pinterest") is integrated on this website. With the help of the pixel, information about the browsing behaviour of website visitors can be collected, stored and evaluated in pseudonymised form. If personal data is also processed, this is done on the basis of our legitimate interest in displaying personalised advertising in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The information can be assigned to the user with the help of further information that Pinterest has stored about the user, e.g. due to the user having an account on the social network "Pinterest". Pinterest uses an algorithm to analyse browsing behaviour and can then display targeted product recommendations as personalised advertising banners on the user's Pinterest account. Pinterest can also combine the information collected via the pixel with other information that Pinterest has collected via other websites and/or in connection with the use of the social network "Pinterest", and thus create pseudonymised usage profiles. However, under no circumstances can the information collected be used to personally identify visitors to this website. 14.3 Pinterest Tag conversion tracking

This website uses the conversion tracking technology "Pinterest Tag" of Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Pinterest").

If you have reached our website from a Pin on Pinterest, we set a cookie on your computer that interacts with a "tag" from Pinterest, also implemented in the form of JavaScript code. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies expire after 180 days and are not used for personal identification.
If the user is redirected from a Pin on Pinterest to pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, the tag records certain user actions predefined by us and can track them (e.g. completed transactions, leads, searches on the website, product page views). When such an action is performed, your browser sends an HTTP request from the cookie via the Pinterest Tag to the Pinterest server, which transmits certain information about the action (including the type of action, time, browser type of the device).

Through this transmission, Pinterest can create statistics on usage behaviour on our website after redirection from a Pinterest Pin, which we use to optimise our offering. If personal user data is processed in this process, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation of the success of product ads on Pinterest and of users' purchasing behaviour, and thus serves to optimise our online offering. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object by deactivating the Pinterest Tag conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Alternatively, you can use the opt-out page for consumers from the EU http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/
to check whether advertising cookies from Microsoft are set in your browser and deactivate them. You can find further information on Pinterest's privacy policy at the following web address: https://policy.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy
Where legally required, we have obtained your consent to the processing of your data described above in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your withdrawal, please follow the option to object described above.

14.4 Taboola

This website uses the retargeting technology of Taboola Inc., 16 Madison Square West 7th Floor, New York, NY 10010, USA ("Taboola"). This content is displayed on the basis of a cookie-based analysis of previous usage behaviour, but no personal data is stored. For this interest-based content selection, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device in order to record pseudonymised data about your browsing behaviour and thus tailor the content individually to the stored information.
If the information collected and evaluated relates to a person, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in displaying personalised page content and in market research. To generally deactivate the use of cookies on your device, you can set your internet browser so that no more cookies can be stored on your device in future or cookies already stored are deleted. Switching off all cookies may mean that some functions on our websites can no longer be performed. You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies for ad preferences by Taboola by using the option to set an opt-out cookie provided on the page linked below: https://www.taboola.com/privacy-policy#optout
